We just moved to the area recently, and have found our "go to place"! The prices are very reasonable and the food is amazing! We paid almost double for a lesser quality food right around the corner from here. We will be frequent customers here from now on!
My friend and I originally planned to dine elsewhere, but unfortunately, the tavern we had in mind was closed, along with most other establishments in Oyster Bay on a Monday. As a result, we found ourselves at The Homestead. The exterior of the restaurant was charming, and the interior was cozy. Arriving right when they opened, the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. Our server greeted us with a warm smile and provided excellent service throughout our meal. We decided to order two different salads, both of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. To accompany our meal, I indulged in two cups of delicious coffee that truly hit the spot. While the prices for the food were reasonable, I was surprised by the cost of the coffee, which was $8. Despite this, the overall dining experience at The Homestead was delightful and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a cozy and welcoming place to enjoy a meal.
Excellent place here in Oyster Bay. Burgers, sandwiches, and apps are wonderful. The baked clams are well prepared, with bread and the portions are good. Burgers are always cooked to perfection and the place is very nice for sure.
My fiance and i had a wonderful time there. There atmosphere was cozy even at the outdoor tables. The food was excellent (definitely get the mussels) the service was excellent even though it was our watresses (stephanie) first night there. She couldn't accommodate us enough. The absolute cherry on top was the live music which absolutely rocked and made the nights experience that much more perfect. Big shout out to bob-tony trio

Excellent big pretzel! Nice and warm and soft and tasty! This is off the main strip in Oyster Bay with all the stores and restaurants to check out! Food was good. The inside has a lot of history and very nicely preserved. We had lunch there but I think it’s probably has more action at night. I recommend checking this place out.
Been living in OB for over a decade and this place hands down has THE BEST burger. Delicious food, great atmosphere- our go to place when dinner isn’t being served at home.
The Homestead has the best burger that I've had in a while. We stopped by during our trip to Oyster Bay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our server, Katie, was super nice and attentive despite having lots of tables. The lunch menu felt like such a steal and had lots of options. Our group of four ordered two Sriracha burgers, the Texas burger, and the fig and prosciutto pizza and everything was amazing. The burger patty was so much thicker than I was expecting (I had to include a picture just to show how thick it is) and the fries were perfectly crispy. We went on a Monday and there was plenty of street parking nearby. The prices were extremely reasonable and we were absolutely stuffed after.
